What I got to say is...........
Good for you. At least you have obtained some sense of closure. There is a movie called "Normal" which is really good. In it this man believes he is really woman, and after a 25 year marriage decides he is going to have a sex change. He went to Thanksgiving dressed as a woman and was verbally and emotionally beaten by his elderly father. Still the wounds he carried around from his childhood still affeected him greatly. A couple months later, he (the elderly father) was diagnosed with Alzheimers and he went back to try and talk to him, and he said that he was his daughter and from there they were able to create some kind of relationship. He got to talk and confront his father and obtained his closure. Take care of yourself. Acknowledging the cycle is a great way to stop it from here. Bonsoir.
